Alison
and Michael Richings originate from the U.K.
(Wirral) but have lived in St.Lucia since 1983.
They have owned and operated many restaurants and hotels,
both in the UK and the Caribbean. In 1988 they purchased "San
Antoine Restaurant" and during their 13years of
ownership San Antoine gained an international reputation
for fine
cuisine
and service.
In 1993, they decided to develop a "beach bar" with
a more relaxed an informal atmosphere, and on 7th December
1993, Spinnakers Beach Bar & Restaurant opened.
Nestling into the warm golden sands of Reduit Beach (Rodney
Bay), Spinnakers is now known by thousands of guests plus
yachtsmen and women from all over the world!
By day, we serve a variety of dishes from quick snacks (for
those wishing to get back on the beach!) to a mega lobster
salad! A selection of the daily menu is listed on

menu" page.
Once the sun sets in front of our deck - a great sundowner
spot, we start serving our evening menu.
As the night darkens, the romantic atmosphere and ambience
that only Spinnakers can offer, surrounds you.
Now you can choose from our varied and
extensive dinner menu - will it be St.Lucian Bouillabaisse,
Veal Parmiagana, Fillet au Poivre or Lobster Thermidore!!

There is something for everyone with a wide range of prices,
the freshest fish and lobster, you can often see our catch
being delivered straight off the beach!
Contact us on our email address if you wish to pre-book a
larger than normal party. Also, for parties of between ten
and twenty guests we can offer a barbeque under the stars
with the sand between your toes and the waves gently lapping
no more than 10 feet away!
Our general manager Linfus Mederick, will be happy to assist
with any enquiry. He heads a team of over 30 staff, all dedicated
to making your visit to Spinnakers a memorable occassion.
